Philip Iley was appointed as Director of Malaysia Airports on 28 July 2025. He brings extensive experience in transport and infrastructure investment, including airports, ports, toll roads, rail, and air traffic control, M&A transactions, IPOs, and privatisations across Europe and Australia.
He is currently a Partner (Europe) and Head of Transport Investment at Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP). Since joining GIP in 2016, he has overseen major transport sector investments and served on the boards of Gatwick Airport and Signature Aviation.
Prior to GIP, Philip spent 20 years at Barclays and Credit Suisse, culminating as Managing Director and Head of the Credit Suisse EMEA Transport & Logistics team.
He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Law & Accountancy from the University of Manchester, UK.
