Dato’ Mohd Izani Ghani assumed the role of Managing Director of Malaysia Airports effective 1 August 2024. From 2011 to 2019, he was a Board Member of Malaysia Airports.
Dato’ Izani brings over 30 years of experience in investment and corporate management. He previously served as Managing Director of UEM Group Berhad, following his earlier role as Executive Director.
He also held senior leadership positions at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, including Executive Director of Investments and Chief Financial Officer, where he led landmark sukuk transactions and headed the Turkey Regional Office. Earlier in his career, he served at Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd and Renong Group.
Dato’ Izani currently sits on the boards of INCEIF University and Institut Jantung Negara Sdn Bhd (IJN), a company under the Ministry of Finance Incorporated.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), as well as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF).
