Sr Azita Mohamed Tahir

Sr Azita Mohamed Tahir joined Malaysia Airports as the Chief Procurement Officer effective 1 January 2025. Prior to this appointment, Sr Azita has led the Procurement and Contract Management teams at major infrastructure projects in Malaysia at PLUS Malaysia Berhad and Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Berhad for all MRT Lines and RTS Johor Bahru – Singapore.
Sr Azita brought with her over 34 years of extensive experience in procurement, contract management and arbitration. She has led major transformations in procurement functions, developing strategic procurement frameworks, conducting feasibility studies and negotiating complex construction claims for projects both in Malaysia and internationally. As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Sr Azita brings advanced problem-solving capabilities to her leadership approach.
Azita holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Victoria University, Australia. She also possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from the University of Salford, United Kingdom and a Postgraduate Diploma in Arbitration from the University College of Estate Management, United Kingdom (previously known as the College of Estate Management).
She is a Registered Consultant Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia and a Fellow to the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia,
