ARFF Live Fire Training program is designed specifically for ARFF personnel to perform their duties in an efficient manner and participate in live fire drills commensurate to the type of aircrafts. ARFF personnel are able to use all fire extinguishing equipment, enhance confidence and abilities with the equipment. They will use in an actual accident/incident, and develop tactics, strategies, and procedures. All materials are developed according to ICAO Annex 14 volume 1 and Doc 9137 Airport Services Manual Part 1 - Rescue and Firefighting.

As part of a requirement in aviation industries, Civil Aviation Directive (CAD) 19 course is crucial in order to ensure the safety management at the aerodrome. Therefore, this course aimed to provide a better understanding for all airport key operational personnel who are required to have basic knowledge and be able to perform their duty in accordance with safety management. The participant will be equipped with knowledge of components, elements, documentation and investigation of aerodrome safety management.

Pressure Fed Fuel Fire Training program is designed specifically for ARFF, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to perform their duties in an efficient manner and participate in live fire drills commensurate to the type of aircrafts.They will practice in an actual accident/incident, and develop tactics, strategies, and procedures. This course provides the competencies required to carry out operational tasks and employ techniques effectively in aircraft firefighting, through a range of theoretical and practical exercises.

The training event will train personnel to identify and develop insider threat scenarios and implement related aviation security preventive measures, in accordance with the Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) contained in Annex 17 – Aviation Security. The training event will also introduce personnel to the ICAO Global Risk Context Statement (Doc 10108 – Restricted) guidance material and provide the skills necessary to apply risk management methodology to the insider threat to determine the appropriate level of security measures to be implemented.

This course has been developed by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Cooperative Aviation Security Programme – Asia Pacific (CASP-AP). The objective of the BASSTC is to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills required to perform screening duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with aviation security regulations and standards. The training course aims to prepare individuals to identify potential security threats, recognize prohibited items, and respond appropriately to security incidents.
