CAAM Gave Notice On Their Unserviceable Instruments

SEPANG - With regards to Air Asia’s cancellation of their Penang-Melaka flights, we wish to inform that the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) issued Notices to Airmen (NOTAM) starting from 29 June 2019 stating that the VHF Omnidirectional Range (VOR) navigational aid and Instrument Landing System at Melaka Airport are unserviceable until 5 and 7 July 2019 respectively. There are no issues pertaining to Melaka Airport capacity, facilities and services to welcome AirAsia flights to Melaka Airport.
