Klia2 Maintenance Progress Series 8

This is the eighth installment in the infographics report series on the klia2 maintenance progress. In this March report series, we are pleased to share that the special maintenance program at klia2 is now at 39% completion. Another five locations were completed in March using grouting injection method. This means a total of 15 locations completed for 2016.

The progressive maintenance conducted at klia2 has resulted in a significant improvement in incident of soil depression and reduced the occurrence of ponding at klia2.

Grouting injection method remains the method of choice to address the situation as it provides less disruption to airport operations.

It is our hope that by sharing this information, the public will have greater understanding of the actual situation and not be influenced by speculation.
