Temporary Road Closure and Traffic Diversion at klia2 Terminal

Sepang, 20 June 2014 – To facilitate the preparation and official launch of klia2 on Tuesday 24 June, Malaysia Airports would like to advise the public and passengers that there will be a temporary road closure and diversion at the klia2 Terminal. 

From Monday 23 June 9.00am until Wednesday 25 June 9.00am, the outer lane for valet parking service at Level 3 Departure, klia2 Terminal will be temporarily closed. Valet parking service will be unavailable for this period of time. 

On Tuesday 24 June, the inner lane at Level 3 Departure klia2 Terminal will also be temporarily closed from 1.00pm until 6.00pm. All traffic will be diverted to Level 2 Arrival, klia2 Terminal. Both drop off and pick up points will be shifted to Level 2 Arrival klia2 Terminal for this period of time. 

Passengers who will be travelling on these dates are advised to take note on the road closure and diversion when using the said area during the particular time. 

Alternative transportations to reach klia2 are available by ERL, bus and taxi. 

Malaysia Airports would also like to advise all passengers to continue observing proper time management to ensure timely arrival to the airport. 

Malaysia Airports will be working closely with Polis DiRaja Malaysia to ensure smooth traffic and reduce any inconveniences to passengers and airport users on these dates.
