SEPANG - Our aim is to see immigration queuing time at KLIA reduced to below 20 minutes.  Collective improvement efforts by both Malaysia Airports and the Department of Immigration have started bearing fruits. In the last one month, queueing time reduced by more than 40% to a daily average of 16 minutes and 7 minutes for arrivals and departures respectively.

We will be adding a further 15 temporary immigration counters at arrival (8) and departure (7) during the CNY period to cater to the crowd. We are expecting nearly 40% increase in passengers during this time so it is possible that queueing time may exceed 20 minutes. However, we are confident that the additional counters will go a long way in managing the crowd during this super peak period.

Our roving friendly Airport CARE Ambassadors will be around to help you if you need any assistance. Gong Xi Fa Cai and Have a Happy Journey!
